Kiteboarding

Kitesurfing is the most extreme of all our sports – especially if you get to try it without a specialized instructor.

Kitesurfing like windsurfing uses the windforce to move forwards. First the kite is lifted to the air. The a kiteboard is attached to kiters feet. Then it is all about harnessing the wind to get you going!

An essential issue in kitesurfing is safety. After you have learned a safe use of the equipment, noticing your surroundings, you’ll move from dry land to the water to practise how to use the kite for moving in the water. After that you’ll start training with your kite and board.

Learning kitesurfing basics requires more training than windsurfing, but after you have learned the basics, you’ll be on your kite and board in the water in no time. The sports suits anyone as long as you have proper swimming skills. Many older windsurfers have switched to kitesurfing since it is softer for you body like joints.

Kites and kiteboards are manufactured for many different purpose: freeride, racing, slalom, speed, jumps, waves. The most fresh is foil kite: there a long, fin-like control mechanism is attached under the board making the board fly high on top of the water.
